Each portrait is an original inspired by favourite photographs. I feel honoured to be trusted with personal memories in order to create a piece of work that may be treasured for generations to come.  I particulary enjoy doing the portrait of a loved one and surprising their family with it - I am currently working on a 'surprise' right now.

The other pictures on this page are ones that struck me as interesting to create. I love interesting faces that tell stories, sometimes they make you wonder about the person’s life experience. Other faces seem to reveal the owner’s personality. It is as if a few wrinkles and hardships couldn’t dull a zest for life. Wouldn’t you love to hear their stories?
